RE: 'Iraq For Sale' generates emotional response (crusader article)

To quote the Crusader:
  • Sociology/Anthropology Dept Holds Event "Iraq for Sale" criticizes the fact that private citizen contractors in the Middle East are not held to the same standard as the military, which, the film stated, has resulted in disasters ranging from individual deaths to human rights violations.
  • There are over 100,000 private contractors working in Iraq, Kuwait and the surrounding area, which is more privatization than any other war.
  • "This is a total failure of the American system and the governmental process." -> SU Student

Gathering the above facts from the Crusader article, one can conclude:

  • Brave New Films and "Iraq for Sale" hate capitalism, apparently they would rather have a socialist or communist govt. -> In America
  • Privatization those who are there chose to go there.
  • Idea - let's eliminate privatization and we can pay for it through your tax dollars!! We can also send people over there, and most likely pay them less then they are for doing it right now.
  • NICE quote - one problem: American system and governmental process = capitalism. Capitalism = privatization. Failure?

Summing it up - Brave New Films is a slanted leftist group attacking the Bush administration and assuming that anything America does is wrong and hateful. Brave New Films also hates America for Capitalism - that's funny, thinking that this is the whole reason that they are able to produce this film. Ah, the hypocrisy.
